The Awevengers: In which everyone is a woman of colour and the world is a better place.

Tracie Thoms as Nik Fury / Kerry Washington as Stephanie Rogers / Sofia Vergara as Antonia Stark / Zoe Saldana as Thor / Aubrey Plaza as Beth Banner / Rihanna as Natasha Romanoff / Agam Darshi as Claire Barton / Grace Park as Maria Hill / Jasmine Guy as Philippa Coulson / Sophie Okonedo as Loki / Freema Agyeman as Pepper Potts

Yo. I kinda like this.

I’m down. Except for Vergara. And Rihanna.

Yes Maria Hill, Yes Beth Banner.  Not feeling Zoe Saldana as Thor, though.

More buttons for Fanime!! I worked on these like all day geez;;;;
Sakamichi no Apollon! This is a nice anime too, surprisingly… emotional! x”’D It hasn’t made me cry yet but it’s certainly made me feel somethin. It’s all about jazz and love and friendship and family and stuff!!! And omglovetriangles FFFFF…… Cool soundtrack too, as expected of an anime about jazz~
I really like it! I’m not really attached to any characters except the two main guys…! ;w; Sentarou is super adorable and just considering everything he’s been through, he’s… just…. a super great guy. ;//w//; So wise beyond what he seems. And Kaoru is like, infuriating, yet I’ve never found myself disliking him at all. I always end up feeling bad for him….;;; He has really cute moments, too.
…… I gotta admit, the first time I saw gifs from this anime, I thought it was boys love……;;;;;;;;;

I am cosplaying Kaoru from Sakamichi (at my boyfriend’s request, no less, because he wanted to be Sentarou and ships them like crazy because they are disturbingly like us) and I will FIND THESE AND BUY THEM, I WILL BUY THEM SO HARD.

That’s right, it’s a 38 foot wide human transmutation circle! Took four hours and two buckets of chalk, completed by me and my two buddies in my cul-de-sac. Covered in chalk and asphalt from head to toe, and neighbors may or may not think we are satan worshippers. Worth it? I think yes.

vocaloid
reality: A vocal synth software/instrument developed by Yamaha. Designed to be a "singer in a box", it was meant for musicians who did not have a vocalist on hand, could not sing, did not have the range or as a backup singer. Although the original vocaloids released were from the UK, the software picked up speed with the release of the (now outdated) Hatsune Miku, the third japanese vocaloid. Vocaloid spread as a creative outlet/subculture for musicians, human singers, artists, programmers, animators, dancers and fans. There are currently over 30 vocaloids, all with different ranges and voices; like the deep voiced Big Al, opera based Prima and Tonio, and the soft, childish Kaai Yuki. There are over 40 thousand songs made by people using the vocaloid software, and some of the producers have been able to make it into the mainstream music industry, like Ryo and his band Supercell. Human singers, such as Piko and Choucho, have also been able to get into the industry after being noticed singing their versions of vocaloid tunes. With the help of Sega and 5pb and permission of the producers, there have been several concerts with the more popular songs using Crypton vocaloids as projections on a giant screen and a live, human band in the back (some of the songs even had the original producers in that band, such as Oster Project).
